In the Philippines,people wash their dishes using a luffa instead of a plastic scourer. The luffas are grown as food then some are left to grow to produce seeds for the following year's crop. These larger luffas are then turned into scourers and cleaning accessories.

Bought directly from the farm at a fair price, your purchase supports less privileged families and prevents environmental degradation. The cleaning sponges and scouring pad are made on Michael's own farm in the Philippines.
