We are a small company based in Germany dedicated to offering and selling in Europe the finest Handmade Crafts and Accessories that can be found in Colombia. We work directly with local Artisans in the design and development of innovative products that appeal to the European Market.
One of our objectives is to improve the quality of life of the Colombian Artisans, who are mainly women. We strive to establish a long-term relationship with them by providing them with an income far above local standards. The Tagua Nut also provides an incentive for people to keep their local environment intact and refrain from destructive activities such as logging.
We have been working over 4 years with the Tagua Nut, promoting the diversification of the most beautiful Vegetable Ivory Jewelry of the highest quality.
We create unique Jewellery and accessories individually handmade from natural products, mostly palm seeds and fibres. The principal component in all collections is the so called vegetable Ivory, the Tagua Nut.
The Tagua Nut, well known as vegetable Ivory, is one of the very few materials that truly become more beautiful with age and its natural shape and colours make each piece unique and special. The older the seed the more valuable it becomes, so these pieces really will last a life time.
