Why not make it a day out - the Hope Valley has plenty for everyone. You can visit the Speedwell Cavern, the Blue John Cavern and other caves around Castleton, a neighbouring village to Hope.
There are wonderful walks for all abilities which lead through the fields and up onto the edges giving outstanding views along the valley, including walks from station to station. Alternatively wend your way along the valley bottom visiting the villages and stopping for a cup of tea or to wander around shops that sell local produce and gifts.
There are a wealth of places to stay in the Hope Valley, from B&Bs to hotels and spas.
