The Nutscene factory, nestled within the beautiful hills of Angus, is one of the last remaining manufacturers within the Dundee area; famous since the 1800's for its pioneering impact and vast jute industry. Nutscene specialise in quality garden and household products. Established in 1922, Nutscene Ltd was the first to patent the pull from centre lock tie spool of twine, 'Greentwist' in 1936. The name Nutscene is derived from their world famous green twine, which when tied around the plant is 'not seen'.
